SYDNEY, NS – Residents of the Cape Breton Regional Municipality (CBRM) will now benefit from HotSpot Parking’s pay-by-phone parking solution.
HotSpot Parking, a proud Atlantic Canadian company, officially launched their product in the CBRM today.
HotSpot CEO Phillip Curley says the CBRM expansion was a natural next step for the company.
“CBRM’s willingness to embrace the smartphone world and offer commuters and tourists a better, more convenient parking solution provides a strong foundation for a long-lasting partnership between our company and this great community,” says Curley. “Our whole team is excited about the services we can offer CBRM residents for years to come.”
Through its affordable pay-for-membership model, HotSpot’s mobile app offers users convenient parking solutions including:
• Remote parking top-ups so users no longer have to run back to the meter;
• Access to all metered parking in the CBRM;
• Refundable credits so unused time can be applied to future parking sessions; and
• Consistent service throughout other Maritime HotSpot cities including Halifax, Moncton, Fredericton, Saint John, and Charlottetown.
To celebrate Small Business Week and HotSpot’s successful launch in CBRM, the Sydney Waterfront will be offering residents two free hours of parking per day starting today for the first week. CBRM residents only have to download and register for the mobile app to begin parking free.
Curley says HotSpot hopes to bring more innovative products to CBRM residents in the months to come.
